Dr. Shabeer Dar is a certified Hematologist – Oncologist, and currently works as a Hematologist- Oncologist at Southside Hospital Bay Shore and worked at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center of Catholic Health Services. Dr. Dar completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Northshore University Hospital and received other Fellowship training at Interfaith Medical Center. Received his residency in Wyckoff Heights Hospital. Dr. Dar began his career working as an Assistant Surgeon for the Government Hospital in the cities of Sopore, Jammu & Kashmir, India. He started work in the US as an Assistant Surgeon at St. John’s Hospital Queens within the Department of Surgery. He also worked for the Catholic Medical Center as a House Physician. He later worked for the Astoria General Hospital as a Surgeon.
